The land of the rising sun has produced one of the most esports-friendly opening ceremonies that captured every gamer’s heart. It featured a range of fantastic songs that were featured in the iconic Japanese video game franchises. The musical score from titles like Monster Hunter, Sonic, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and many more.

Japan takes pride in its artistic heritage, and it has come out as one of the prominent regions for gaming. On the other hand, anime has certainly helped the country attain more fame, as it garnered fans from the world over. This booming industry has become a part of the popular culture, which helps them earn millions of dollars and it also serves as a major attraction for tourists.

Hence it is why the organizers did not see anything wrong when one of the presenters cosplayed Jiraya from Naruto.
