As everyone might know, this game is going to run at 30 FPS on both Xbox series X and S with 4K and 1440P resolutions, respectively. He explained that people might not like this lock, but it was needed in order to maintain stability. He even mentioned that this game occasionally went way above 60 on both consoles, but they want a consistent experience for gamers. Hence, the 30 FPS lock is set for this game on consoles.

Secondly, he discussed the similarities with other sci-fi titles such as No Man’s Sky and Mass Effect. He mentioned that those games are sci-fi titles like Starfield. All these games offer players a different experience and mentioned that in his mind, Starfield is much like Red Dead Redemption 2.

According to Todd Howard, Starfield lets players fulfill that spaceman fantasy, just like Red Dead 2 lets them play out their wild west fantasy. It appears the eight years spent developing this game have been fruitful, and Todd Howard is plenty proud of this game too. Fans cannot wait to see what the end result of it all is.
