Gearbox Software’s Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands just arrived a few days ago, and has mostly impressed the players. However, one user recently found out that the game apparently has an interesting Easter egg indirectly featuring The Witcher.
That may sound really bizarre at first, but it’s true indeed. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has blended The Witcher in a very interesting manner in its storyline.

For those uninitiated, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the newest entry in the Borderlands franchise. The spin-off is developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games. Moreover, it is also the direct sequel to Borderlands 2.
While the title is fun to dive into, it consists of a variety of engaging aspects and more specifically speaking the Easter eggs. However, one fan recently noticed that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has a deep connection with The Witcher saga. Well, it’s not what you think it is but it’s all extremely hilarious, to say the least.

A YouTuber who runs the channel named xGarbett revealed in a video that there is an Easter egg mentioning The Witcher in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Although it’s all done in an indirect manner by the developer.
So there is a quest titled ‘The Ditcher’ and the protagonist, while venturing into the Sunfang Oasis area, comes across mysterious vegabonds. The latter reveal themselves as ‘Geritt of Trivia’.

Not just that, they even describe themselves as “hunter of monsters, slayer of daemons… kisser of witches”.
As you can clearly understand, it’s just inevitable to ignore the similarities between the aforementioned characters and The Witcher. Fans of the latter know exactly what indirect references mean. Geralt has been replaced by Gerrit, while the main title Witcher itself has been replaced by Ditcher in the entire quest.

It won’t be wrong to say that this entire mission was designed by someone who loves the open-world adventure series from CD Projekt RED. Or maybe the developing team of Gearbox is a huge fan of Geralt of Rivia!
