Last year was great for the gaming community, with the release of Horizon Forbidden West, Elden Ring, and God of War: Ragnarok. These three were the most successful games last year, resulting in a tough clash for the ‘Game of the Year’ title at the 2022 Game Awards. Eventually, Elden Ring ended up winning the prestigious award.
Elden Ring is an action RPG developed by FromSoftware and released under the banners of Bandai Namco. The unique gameplay and visuals had everyone fall in love with it. But besides these mind-blowing features, the game also had a great soundtrack, which elevated the experience of playing the game. Even the American singer Post Malone is in love with the track.
Post Malone is one of the most successful American musicians, winning prizes such as three American Music Awards and 10 Billboard Music Awards. But aside from music, the 27-year-old takes a great interest in video games. He even started to do gaming livestreams on Twitch with many other famous streamers like Nickmercs and ACEU.

Post Malone loves the soundtrack of Elden Ring
The American singer once attended the YouTube channel called First We Feast, where he ate some spicy food and gave some spicy answers too. The host asked Malone about growing up with video games. He is a musician, so what is the importance of music in games? The ‘Sunflower’ singer first asked if the host played Elden Ring and advised him to play if he didn’t.

Post Malone then started singing praise for why he loves Elden Ring’s soundtrack. He said, “There are times in that game I turn the music all the way up because it is insane. It’s literally like choirs [but] not of angels, of demons, and they’re like we’re gonna f**ck you up. There’s literally no way you live and after a fight, I’m like shaking and stuff and I need to go outside and smoke and stuff and be like I need to decompress.”
The American musician then again claimed how important music is in elevating games. He also revealed about getting chills listening to Skyrim’s soundtrack. He is also a fan of the soundtracks of two famous Nintendo game series, Mario and The Legend of Zelda. Post Malone claimed these soundtracks are timeless pieces, which made him extremely nostalgic.
