Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is Game Freak and Nintendo’s most ambitious project to date. There was a lot riding on these two new additions to the series. Although it struggled at first due to performance issues, it finally attracted fans and had great sales.
Many new features were added in these ninth-generation games, one of which was Terastallizing. Pokemon has had several power boosts such as Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, and Dynamaxing in the past games. But they introduced Terastallizing for Scarlet & Violet, which changes a Pokemon’s type for the duration of the battle to their Tera Type.

With Terastallizing, these two new games also introduced Tera Type Raids, where players fight against terastilized Pokemon. These Raids assist players in capturing Pokemon with rare Tera Types. Pokemon has recently announced the first Tera Raid events for Scarlet & Violet. However, it is not just one, but three events. Let’s find out more about them.
Three Tera Raid events in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
According to NintendoLife, Scarlet & Violet will host an exclusive 7-star raid. Those who have played the two games are aware that these are the most difficult raids in the game. This 7-star raid would be against a Poison-Tera Type Greninja. This raid would take place between January 27 and January 29. Fans should not be concerned if they miss out on this opportunity because it will return from February 10 to February 12.

Tera Raids will have Drifblim and Mismagius available from January 20 to January 22. But there’s a catch: Drifblim would only be available to Pokemon Scarlet, while Mismagius would only be available to Pokemon Violet. As a result, those on Scarlet who want a Mismagius may have to trade with those on Violet, and vice versa.
This Valentine’s Day, Scarlet & Violet features unique Tera Raids. From February 13 to February 15, players will be able to obtain Fairy-Tera Type Tandemaus. It is a “Couple Pokemon” introduced in Scarlet & Violet.
