What can be cooler than witnessing the epic clash between Scorpion and Sub Zero from Mortal Kombat? Obviously, the duo being heckled into submission by the Gotham Knight. While game mods do allow for such incredible options for fans, a full-fledged movie depicting the convergence of the DC Comics and MK universes would be something straight out of dreams for many. Recently, a decision, taken by Warner Bros regarding the same has got the fans really upset!
While Mortal Kombat 1 does have a lot of DC characters to pick from, a movie would definitely be something else. An animated Mortal Kombat vs DC movie could do justice to some of the most iconic characters in pop culture. However, the idea was shelved but what happened then?

Mortal Kombat characters are one of the most popular in the fighting game genre. The characters’ incredible skills and deadly skills make them some of the most coveted fictional fighters ever. On the other hand, few would argue against the hand-to-hand combat skills of Batman, Robin, and Deadshot. These DC Comics characters have created a cult following thanks to their depth and incredible skills with weapons.
Adams has worked extensively on the DC Comics animated features while also having experience working on the animated Mortal Kombat Legends series. Understandably, Adams would love an opportunity to be part of something that brings his two worlds together. For Adams, a DC Mortal Kombat would be “super, super cool“.

Of course they said no. Since when do we expect them to make good decisions with their IP? 😂

Another fan believes such a movie could unfold a great plot. The prospect of DC and MK characters taking on Shao Kahn and the Joker would be exquisite.
This would have been sick. The classic let’s fight each other but then unite to take on Shau kaun and Joker. Who would be the enemy team?

However, this lad believes Warner Bros. didn’t actually want to spend too much time on the movie since we all know who will be the last person standing when the dust settles down.
