Fortnite is not only one of the most popular online FPS Battle Royales in the world but also a significant name in the eSports scene. Having such a significant reputation, the rule sets and guidelines surrounding the disciplines of professionals who are connected with the tournaments and other pro circuits are bound to be strict. But sometimes things go a little too far.

The latest on the chopping board of the Fortnite ban hammer is the Twitch streamer and Pro player, Clix. He revealed on Twitter that EPIC has banned him for 14 days. According to the in-game message, this ban was placed on him for seemingly “teaming up” with a competitor of a $100 cash tournament.

The ban was placed on April 24, 2023. Following the ordeal, the streamer went on ahead and posted on all his socials a short video, explaining the whole situation and asking his audience to help him get unbanned. He revealed to have approached the staff at EPIC, but they have made it clear that the ban will be staying.

“I had a call with Epic. As of right now, it’s going to be like that. As of right now, it’s going to stay like that. I pray to god, something changes. Since this is my life. I moved here for this,” said the streamer. In such a desperate time, Clix seems to have no other way than to pray and ask for his community’s help to free himself from the ban.

But the ban is not the only issue here. Because of the 14 days ban, Clix revealed that he won’t be able to participate in Fortnite Champion Series. “I’m banned for two weeks. If you guys didn’t know, this means that I can’t play in FNCS (Fortnite Champion Series) Grand Finals and I can’t also play in the next FNCS, in a month,” said the streamer.

The whole drama began in the last segments of the $100 Cash Cup in which  Clix participated. He could be seen frequently encountering a user named, “User-6caf00f27,” who, according to the streamer, is a young kid who doesn’t like him very much. Clix claimed this user purposely stream-snipped him in order to get him banned.

In the end, it is unclear if the ban will be lifted anytime soon, but seeing the latest evidence by Clix and massive support from the community may help make EPIC rethink its decision.
