Starfield is finally out and Bethesda‘s most anticipated release is proving to be something truly unique. Now, a video has surfaced showing the grim fate of an NPC and fans can’t get over how the scenario felt like a bolt from the blue.

A Starfield player has shared the clip on X, formerly Twitter, and fans are hysterical after witnessing what happened to an NPC.

The hilarious demise of Starfield NPC leaves fans gasping for breath

Starfield fans have been teased by the devs for almost a year. Bethesda promised a great many things with their new IP and so far, the community isn’t disappointed. Despite some fans claiming the game to be unable to match their expectations, most others have hailed the game as an incredible experience. Now, one video clip has surfaced on social media that fans just can’t stop laughing about.

In the video we see the player interacting with an NPC labelled survivalist. During the interaction, we can also see some creature lurking in the background. Such conversations can be integral to a game’s story narrative. And accordingly, the player was interacting with the NPC. And all of a sudden, the alien creature from the background comes along and snaps off the NPC’s head. Everything happens in a matter of seconds and the player couldn’t really fathom what had just happened.

While the NPC’s fate isn’t all rainbows and fairies, the Starfield community is clearly laughing their guts out. The player also claims that such unexpected scenarios are what make a game feel great.

Betehsda’s Magnum opus is something truly to behold. An expansive universe with over 1,000 planets offers players literally thousands of POIs where they can explore new things and creatures. The visuals are stunning and the gameplay feels solid. Fans believe Starfield is easily a contender for the Game of The Year award for 2023. The game was already topping charts even before release. Now that it’s finally here, the community can’t wait to explore every nook and cranny of Starfield’s massive map.
