Fighting game fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of Mortal Kombat 1. Apart from being a new title from NetherRealm Studios, the game also reboots the long-time-running fighting series. The reboot allowed the developers to keep the favorite elements of the original timeline while implementing new ideas too.

In a list of new ideas coming with the game is a huge selection of fighters. Players have the option to select their Main fighter, as well as their Kameo fighter too. Naturally, they would be needing a wide array of options to fill the two positions. A fan-made trailer has stirred the excitement of fans who are hoping for some more new characters to be added.

In a recent tweet from Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon, he talked about a fan-made trailer. The fan-made ‘Celebrity Mortal Kombat’ trailer is made by interdimensional.tv with the help of AI. Ed Boon asked fans who would their pick be to join the game. The players have the option to select from 32 real-life politicians and media figures.

In the politicians’ corner, the trailer has Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and many more. And on the media figures’ side, fans have Kanye West, Shaquille O’Neal, Elon Musk, and others. The trailer also contains prominent figures of the past, like writer William Shakespeare, nun Mother Teresa, and the first US President George Washington.

Despite having this huge array of characters to choose from, fans are adding more characters they want to see in the Mortal Kombat universe. However, with the likes of Homelander, Omni-Man, and Peacemaker from other franchises making their way into the game, the hopes of fans of getting new fighters are at an all-time high.

Furthermore, fans are also commending the artist who brought them this unique idea of celebrities in-game.
