Nintendo is on a winning streak this year as it has witnessed constant success with almost each of its new game releases. Firstly, Pokemon Legends: Arceus swayed the fans earlier in 2022. Then, the combination of Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Switch Sports ended up blowing away the minds of the players.

And now, Nintendo is set to offer another major and delicious surprise to all the players who can’t get enough of the pink hero. The Japanese giant has recently announced a new Kirby game.

Kirby gets a new multiplayer game announcement in Dream Buffet

Kirby and the Forgotten Land launched in March this year as the thirteenth main entry in its series. Additionally, it’s also the first 3D title in the entire saga, excluding spin-offs. Players control the pink hero Kirby while exploring the forgotten land known as the New World. The central character gets on a quest to rescue Waddle Dees from the ferocious Beast Pack.

Even though it’s been a great title, there was no option for the players to enjoy it with more people simultaneously. It looks like Nintendo noticed this situation and then decided to eventually address it as well. It just revealed a brand new Kirby multiplayer game for the fans. While announcing the upcoming title, the Japanese giant mentioned that it will make its way this summer.

Speaking about it in detail, then the game is called Kirby’s Dream Buffet. It will consist of four levels and players, taking the role of the pink hero, they will need to eat as much food as possible throughout the entirety of the levels. This game will support up to four players at one time. The official description for the title on the store page of Nintendo reads:

“Race through delicious obstacle courses to collect strawberries as Kirby grows. Then, turn the tides in the final round—a fruity fight atop a floating platform.”

Meanwhile, fans are already excited about this multiplayer game under the Kirby saga. Especially those, who have already finished playing Forgotten Land and were missing the adorable pink character. Many of the users on social media expressed great happiness upon this newest announcement by Nintendo. Simply put, they are loving it. “This looks super cute! Too bad I don’t have any friends”, wrote on user.

It’s important to note that Dream Buffet will be exclusive to Nintendo’s eShop only.
