Recently, Mortal Kombat unveiled its first DLC for MK1, the Kombat Roster Pack, in which fans have witnessed an epic crossover between the MK universe and other popular universes. The most notable among these is the addition of the flamboyant superhero of ‘The Boys’ – Homelander. Besides Homelander, Peacekeeper from the DC universe will be part of the game too.

But that’s not the end of the exciting news. Omni-Man from the famous animated superhero TV series ‘Invincibles’ will also be joining the guest roster of MK1. Veteran actor Jonathan Kimble Simmons will be the voice actor behind Omni-Man in MK1.

While J. K. Simmons was also the one who gave voice to the character in the Invincible series, it will be quite another experience to have his voice in MK1. News of the actor voicing Omni-Man has been confirmed by Ed Boon himself, the Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios. Boon announced this at the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con 2023.
