Ever since its release last year, Call of Duty Warzone 2 has become a very interesting title to look at. Its battle royale format has mostly received mixed reactions. Simply because the new approach taken by the devs in this game has made many fans disappointed. Yes, the title is quite engaging in different aspects, but the lack of appealing features has been a growing problem.
Well, now it appears as if more players are losing interest in the game sooner than expected. It becomes quite evident from a recent poll conducted by a renowned streamer who wanted to know if Warzone 2 is still going strong or not months after its awaited debut. Unfortunately, the result of this poll wasn’t something the game’s developers would like to see.

Compared to its predecessor, from 2020, Warzone 2 has turned out to be quite polarizing. Because it hasn’t succeeded in winning over the players in the same way, the original battle royale did more than three years ago. Recently, a popular insider and streamer, known as ModernWarzone, took to Twitter to find out the current state of the game’s relevance among users.
He posted a poll, asking Call of Duty players if they still play Warzone 2 regularly or not. The unexpected result indicated that more than 75 percent of players have left engaging themselves in the title on a regular basis.

Moreover, when ModernWarzone tried to find out what was the major reason for players’ drowning interest, they revealed lots of interesting reactions. Going by various Tweets, it looks like the game has turned into a boring experience for most of them. On the other hand, others just don’t feel like gearing up for battle royale matches anymore in Warzone 2.

Another crucial reason, mentioned by a few of the individuals, is the addition of unwanted changes in the gameplay mechanics. “Now, I play at most 30 mins a week and by the time 30 mins is done, I’m bored and want to hop off,” wrote one user.
I would play for hours and lose track of time when I played WZ1. It was honestly an addiction. Now, I play at most 30 mins a week and by the time 30 mins is done, I’m bored and want to hop off.

Went from playing it everyday to not playing it in months. Tbh, they just changed too much with the new game. Things we didn’t asked to be changed. It’s just not the same.
Plus, give me rebirth back.

I would play more if my friends were interested in playing. Bugs and other issues compounded with the long time it takes them to fix/ address them stunted the excitement we had for the game. Then we go play other games where they do a much better job.
