“This Is What Is So Frustrating” – Scalpers Are Re-Selling $40 KSI X Prime Bundles for More Than $1,000

British YouTube sensation, KSI, undoubtedly has a huge fan following. But even the influencer himself couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw how crazy his fans are for his merch and products. The recently dropped KSI X PRIME hydration bundle has such a high demand that scalpers on the internet are reselling it for more than 20 times the original price. 

JJ Olatunji aka KSI is by far one of the most well-known and successful content creators in the world. The young influencer is not just a successful YouTuber but also a rising boxing star, music sensation, and co-owner of the world-renowned hydration drink, PRIME hydration. With his former rival, KSI started this venture only 13 months ago. 

Even though it’s only been a year since the brand came into existence, in such a short period, it has already made some historical strides in the retail industry. They have landed massive sponsorship deals with Arsenal FC, the English soccer team, and with UFC. If that was not enough, PRIME became the first-ever creator-made brand that got to feature at the Super Bowl. 

KSI X Prime Bundle is being sold at absurd prices

Looking at the massive success and the recognition of the brand, including the owners’ fan following, it is not surprising that people go far and beyond to get their hands on some PRIME. And the dam gates were broken when the company dropped its latest bundle pack featuring bottles, shirts, and bandanas inspired by KSI.

The original price of this bundle was $39.99 on the website, but seeing the opportunity, Scalpers took their chance and started re-selling the items with absurd profit margins. On eBay and other re-selling websites, the price reached as high as $1000-$3000! Even KSI himself was surprised by the surge as he wrote, “Wth lol” on Twitter. 

Fans were frustrated by the scalpers

Looking at the absurdity, it was obvious that the insane price hike and unavailability made the loyal fans very upset. They flocked to Twitter to share their experience and expose the greed of these scalpers. Many shared how they tried their best to order the bundle while it was still available, but their efforts weren’t enough to beat the scalpers.
