“This is the closest I will get to meeting her” – YouTube Queen Valkyrae Reveals Her Dress’ Resemblance With Zendaya’s Dress at the Game Award 2022

It is very common for fans to adore their heroes and their idol and try to want to be like them in any way possible. Thus it was the same for YouTube Queen Valkyrae as well recently when she dressed up like her favorite actress Zendaya, whom she adores a lot.

Normally, it would be a really routine thing to see your favorite streamers cosplay as popular fictional characters. But after Valkyrae first hinted at her dress resembling a look from Zendaya’s dress, fans were eager to know what she was actually going to wear.

Valkyrae gets excited after realizing that her dress somewhat matches a dress design that Zendaya once wore

Valkyrae is a huge Zendaya fan, and it is basically common knowledge amongst her community, as they all know it very well. Thus it is also exciting for fans to notice that she recently shared news about a dress that she wore to attend the Game of the Year award show.

In her tweet, before revealing the dress officially, she hinted about her dress resembling Zendaya’s dress by saying, “I noticed my dress for presenting at the Game Awards tonight is the same type of dress that has been worn by Zendaya and I feel like this is the closest I will get to meeting her.” She further added in her comments, “NOT THE LITERAL DRESS SHE WORE LOL JUST THE SAME TYPE OF DRESS NOT HER DRESS HOW DO I WORD THIS PROPERLY LOL.”

However, an hour later when she finally shared her photos alongside Leslie it was revealed that she was wearing a Black-and-White striped gown, that was a perfect match to another Black and White Vintage striped gown that Zendaya once wore during the 2019 HBO Max’s Euphoria premiere.

Notably, according to a report from People, it was clarified that the dress that Zendaya wore during the 2019 premiere was a “black-and-white, vertically striped Valentino gown from the 1992 collection straight from the Valentino archives. The design first made its debut on the catwalk, modeled by supermodel icon Linda Evangelista, during the Italian fashion house’s Spring/Summer show.”
