Star Wars Jedi: Survivor might be a dream come true for most Star Wars fans. Just like its previous instalment the game would be third-person CQC combat based. Players would be controlling a Jedi as he jumps from planet to planet in order to fulfil whatever new mission, he has in mind this time around.

EA revealed the gameplay trailer of this game a while ago during 2022’s The Game Awards and the trailer really got a good reception from its fans.

Finally, we have some Gameplay details on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

As it was made pretty evident from its trailer the players once again would be controlling a Jedi called Cal. They would also use Cal’s trusty lightsabre in order to fend off or just straight up take down his enemies.

Other than these basic details though, there are a lot more players who would be able to do this, this time around. The biggest addition is a Blaster that players would have in their inventory.

Other than that, GameInformer reports that we would finally have fully realized stances. In this game players would be able to change stances according to the enemies they would fight. It is basically very similar to Ghost of Tsushima where we were able to change stances depending on the weapon that our enemies carried.

One of those stances would have attacks that would combine the Lightsabre and the Blaster.

Players would also be able to ride a bunch of creatures in the game and there would also be ziplines available to get around maps.

New Characters and a New AI companion are coming too!

Aside from all the new transversal and combat options, players would also get a new AI companion. A mercenary named Bode would now be available for players to go on adventures with. He would also help Cal in fighting enemies when the need arises.

To many fans, the game is already something that improves upon everything that the first one did. Some players have reservations. They want to know if respawn entertainment has added a fast travel option. Some are even asking if they managed to fix the Map that got confusing to read sometimes.
