While Bella Ramsey confirmed that Ellie will not be recast, fans are also concerned about Pedro Pascal’s future in the series. If the HBO adaptation follows the events in the second game, Pascal’s future in the second series will be short.

But she also gave a subtle hint that Pedro Pascal could get less screen time. She said, “So I just have to go into it being like, ‘This is Season 2 and I loved Season 1, but this is going to be different.’ I just want to be back in Canada with Craig Mazin and Pedro (Pascal) for a little bit. It’s gonna be really nice. I’m really excited.”
