This Forgotten Final Fantasy Game Will Be Resurrected, With A Twist, In FF7 Ever Crisis

Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis is highly anticipated by mobile gamers. The Square Enix published title is being subjected to a lot of speculation as the countdown to the launch begins. Following the trending pattern of this year’s gaming industry it seems like Square Enix has planned another revisit but with a twist. The upcoming Final Fantasy VII revisit release for Android and iOS has a surprise ready for the franchise fans. 

The popular role-playing adventure has always been praised for its story and characters. Besides having commendable visuals and graphics, the makers of Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis tend to focus on a strong narrative. In a similar strategy, the forthcoming release is expected to have a strong story point. Now, with the latest leak, fans are certain of a convincing narrative as it is traced back to another forgotten Final Fantasy title. Yes! It revisits time for mobile gamers. 

Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis inspired by The First Soldier! 

According to the latest speculations, The First Soldier is getting redemption with the upcoming Final Fantasy launch. The First Soldier’s story will be included in Ever Crisis, effectively allowing people who were unable to play the game to experience the original narrative that took place before FF7 and the rise of the villainous Shinra Corporation. Moreover, the developers might be planning to compile the narratives from Cris Core and the original Final Fantasy 7 as well. 

Released in 2021, Final Fantasy: The First Soldier was a Square Enix-published project that couldn’t keep up to expectations. The project couldn’t even turn back some considerate profit amount to the developers.

Due to this issue, the makers decided to shut down. Just 14 months after the launch of this Final Fantasy title, the title’s servers were removed from all the platforms across the network making it completely inaccessible. The decision was made to cut down the cost of making further upgrades and maintenance in the game.

What effect does it make on the future of the franchise?

Considering the fact that The First Soldier has been unavailable on any platform for so long after so many years of hard work, a revival seems like a legitimate call. Also, with the hype around this release, the game might have the desired impact this time. A lot of players from the community would want to invest in the mobile version storyline before getting to experience the Final Fantasy 7 rebirth in 2024. This becomes another major selling point for the title.
