Red Dead Redemption is considered one of the best story-based games on seventh-generation consoles. The game came out like a fresh breath of air and literally changed people’s perspectives about what Rockstar Games was all about as a developer. The weird thing is that such an excellent title is stuck on those consoles to this day.

But recently, conversations started about a remaster or remake of this game releasing sometime in 2023. These are, as usual, some small leaks that can be anything. But a couple of recent developments have given some weight to these rumors.

Rockstar Games simply hates letting people in on their plans before they are ready. This has been evident from the numerous game reveals they have done for years. They have a track record of not even commenting on rumors and leaks and then simply announcing a new title out of nowhere. This is a good thing too; it keeps that element of surprise alive.

The details of the nature of this title are not particularly clear, but one thing is clear, Rockstar is cooking something.

It’s pretty obvious that RDR1 stands for Red Dead Redemption 1, but fans have their own presumptions about RSP. Some say it’s a remaster, others say it’s a remake.
