This Xbox head spoke about the dedication of many developers to bring their games to the event despite the ongoing European conflict. Spencer said- “We’re At a big gaming show, I like to talk about video games, and then you go talk to that team in terms of what they’ve been through, and it makes the discussion about video games seem almost irrelevant.” In this context, he pointed out the numerous socio-political difficulties impacting the developers to bring their best titles to the market. But Spencer also thanked them for keeping up with the courage and bringing their games to the Xbox booth at Gamescom 2023.

Particularly referring to STALKER 2, Spencer was spotted having a big appreciation for the developers, who made Xbox’s show more successful. Despite the current political conflict in Ukraine- “they’re here showing their game with pride.” The developer of STALKER 2 is GSC Game World, and they belong to Ukraine.
