Microsoft’s $69 billion deal to take over Call of Duty makers Activision Blizzard sparked a huge controversy. It was so because Call of Duty is a great revenue-generating series for PlayStation. However, keeping up with his promise, Xbox boss Phil Spencer opened Modern Warfare 3’s first weekend of Beta only for PS players. Later Xbox and PC players joined the community at the second weekend. And now that Beta Access’s second weekend is over, fans are dropping many reviews for this upcoming Call of Duty title. The discussion started when a CoD fan on their Reddit platform asked for players’ experiences with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

While there are positive reviews, but looks like some fans are seriously not very satisfied with Activision. This is also because they believe the title’s price tag is unnecessary looking at the fewer game developments. However, looking at the prices of big-budgeted productions like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 or Starfield, Modern Warfare 3’s price doesn’t really surprise people. But spending $70 for a game might still cut a large hole in some players’ pockets.

Not just the price, people felt Modern Warfare 3 is nothing but a similar gameplay to Modern Warfare 2 with some combat changes, new maps, and different game modes. From bad firefight experience to Ground War’s strange vehicle feelings, the CoD community is in splits with MW3.
