Luck, the ability to overcome performance anxiety, and many more are essential components for success in this field. Thus, there comes situations when drugs come into the picture. And on the basis of that, recently a Fortnite pro player gave further insights on what goes behind the scenes in regard to the use of substances like Adderall.
Fortnite Pro on the impact of Adderall on the Esports front
Competitive gaming is known for its intrinsic moments. The competition and stakes are always high and this takes a toll on the players as well. And apparently, this pushes some of them to take drugs to concentrate more on their gaming performance. There is a huge outcry against using such drugs, and a recent interview Jake Lucky conducted was talking about this very issue.

Lucky was talking about the young pool of players in the Fortnite Esports front. He asked about how Adderall usage is in effect in Fortnite to a pro. The interviewee responded that there might be people who use these drugs without permission, but it seems like most people who use these have prescriptions. The issue here is in regard to overdosing.

The pro explained that he knew people who take three times more than the prescribed amount.
Furthermore, he stated that games that composite much older players like Valorant and CS: GO witness more usage of such drugs. According to him, these players have much more access to getting such prescribed drugs.

He also was seen replying in the same light to demands that wanted to stop the usage of such materials among the Esports community, especially in high stake tournaments.
