What is Valorant without a bit of drama. But this time around the drama started happening even before official league commenced. 2023 is bringing a lot into the Esports front of Valorant including franchised leagues. And these would surely be a dramatic and emotional ride. But, the drama is already running high in the Valorant circle.
One of the pioneering teams in NA right now is the Sentinels. They are the first Masters champions and have established strong ground with their presence in the region. One of the key figures in that journey was their former IGL ShahZaM. But now, there is beef going on between the Org president and the player.

Valorant Pro ShahZaM vs Sentinels
ShahZaM is one of the most prominent IGL’s in the NA Valorant scene. He was the player who captained the Sentinels Valorant team in Masters and won them the trophy for the first time. But as time passed and the Sentinels got knocked out frequently from tournaments, the organization restructured the team and ShahZaM did not get resigned.
A few days ago, we all go to see the beef between ShahZaM and Rob Moore, the CEO of Sentinels. Now, ShahZaM has brought about more allegations regarding the debate that is happening between him and his former boss.
“He blatantly lies to save face, and it’s sad,” ShahZaM said to the statements that Rob Moore was giving out through his Twitter handle. ShahZaM also made it clear that his statements were in no way a dig towards the veteran Shroud. According to him, Shroud gave 110 % to the team. It is the supposedly blatant lies that the organization is giving that are making ShahZaM say this.
Moreover, earlier in 2022 there was an incident when ShahZaM was live in his stream when he got the news that he was sacked through a third party. Rob Moore said that the former IGL of Sentinels was informed beforehand but ShahZam has a different story.

All these just add more flame to the upcoming season. Fans will surely like to see ShahZaM-led G2 go against Sentinels. But, unfortunately, this will take a much longer time and will mostly only happen in 2024, if G2 manages to qualify for the leagues.
