There is a saying that the world is controlled by only 0.01% of people and they are doing it as they please. The reason why many strongly believe this is because of the fact that recently, Billion-dollar men Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have shown the world that they have the full authority to do exactly whatever they want.

This has thus led to the question, do we even know how the current tech industry is operating that is based on neo-politics and free trade ideas? Maybe not, but one thing is for sure, it has brought a backlash and anger in people toward the Top 1 percent, who are using their authority to control the global market.

And now political commentator and streamer, Hasan Piker has also shared his thoughts on the matter, by saying that both Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk worked harder or smarter to get to their position.

Recently, after Tesla CEO Elon Musk took over Twitter for $44 billion. And soon it was clear the fact that the company started laying off employees left and right and didn’t even bother to hold a meeting for the same. According to reports, the company has laid off around 50% of its 7,500 employees.

Soon after that, Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta also started laying off employees in a random manner, and according to a blog post written to employees by CEO Mark Zuckerberg, around 11,000 employees were laid off by the company. He wrote, “Today I’m sharing some of the most difficult changes we’ve made in Meta’s history. I’ve decided to reduce the size of our team by about 13% and let more than 11,000 of our talented employees go.”

Thus this was enough for political commentator Hasan Piker to speak his mind on the matter, and so he wrote in his recent Twitter post, “Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are showing the world that meritocracy is indeed a lie and that they didn’t work harder or smarter than everyone else contrary to popular opinion. It’s great.”
