Famous Hollywood celebrities showing genuine love towards interactive media and video games are quite rare. But the popular movie star and lead actress from Amazon Prime’s hit show ‘The Peripheral’, Chloë Grace Moretz, has confessed to being an avid gamer ever since her younger days. 


In a recent interview, Moretz showed her interest by confessing that she was really into adrenaline sports and competitive gaming. The young actress shared how much she loves video games ever since her childhood. But in the interview, she also touched upon the unjust treatment of women in the scene.

Chloë Grace Moretz talks about the ill-treatment of women in online video games 

Recently, Moretz was featured in The Kelly Clarkson Show as a guest. In the show, she talked about all her passions and hobbies and touched upon all her recent extreme ventures. She shared that she really enjoys adrenaline sports, such as dirt biking, NASCAR racing, and more. 

 

As the conversation went forward, Chloë Grace Moretz brought up the subject of gaming and surprised the audience. Her genuine passion for games and eSports also shocked Kelly Clarkson herself. Moretz talked about eSports and how it is an actual sport. And intense games are called “Sweaty”.

Chloë said that she had four elder brothers whom she can’t beat in terms of body strength, but when it came to video games, shecould always beat them.” But she also shared that gaming is huge, but men mostly dominated the eSports scene.

Chloë stated that the ratio of men and women in the gaming world is very high. There are a lot of women playing games, but they masquerade as males by using male avatars. According to her, “There’s kinda such an aggression towards women within it that a lot of us(women) pretend to be guys.

‘The Peripheral’ star is soon going to make her Twitch Debut

In the interview, Moretz also shared that she is an avid fan of the Call of Duty series. She loves to play the online lobbies even if it sometimes can get a little, “Sweaty”. In the video, Chloë also revealed that she will be debuting on Twitch with two well-known Call of Duty streamers.

These two streamers are Nadia and Symfuhny. They have a massive following and experience in streaming as well as Call of Duty games. She was initially meant to mark her debut last week on December 8, but she had to postpone it due to some reasons. But one thing is for sure, an avid video game lover like her won’t be delaying this for long.
