For those already familiar, Sarah Bond the chief of Xbox Game Creator Experience & Ecosystem brings an everyday challenge for Microsoft fans. In the challenge, fans have to guess the name of the Xbox feature through the emoticons hints. While it started as a fun one-time thing, the fun response she had received inspired her to carry on with the quiz every day.
Well, it’s been three months since her first challenge made it to social media. Unarguably it has become a trend for Xbox fans quite similar to the habif of solving an early morning Wordle. What makes it more interesting is the fact this trend was inspired by her love for emojis and being a mother.

In the latest interview with Xbox Wire, she addressed how the journey of Sarah Bond’s puzzle series began. The VP explained how her love for emojis was discouraged by others calling it an attribute of old people. On the contrary, she wanted to embrace her emoji craze and thought of communicating with them. What better to take the help of Microsoft fans?
“With this question in mind, when I hopped on a plane, I started making game names out of emojis. I made 50 game and emoji combinations on that flight. The first one that I made was for Clockwork Revolution, and everybody went wild. We eventually decided to do this quiz every day of the week, just like Wordle, so people could wake up in the morning and try and solve the quiz, and to keep going as long as I could. It’s been almost 3 months, and we’ll see how much longer I can continue. There still are a lot of games out there!” she stated in the interview.
