Amouranth has shared her take on HasanAbi’s recent dog shelter donation, and she feels there could’ve been better ways. 

A few days back, political streamer Hasan Piker dazzled fans with a fresh video on YouTube. He showcased himself alongside Valkyrae and his team, driving to multiple dog shelters to donate money. Apparently, Hasan wanted to do something good for the community, and given that he shared a heartfelt history with dogs, this was expected. Interestingly, he tanked over $15,000 to a single shelter, with two more that remained undisclosed.

But still, he ended up receiving a lot of hate, as fans were not in awe of it. For instance, they trolled him on Twitter, calling his act bogus rather than appreciating it. And well, there were practical reasons for it, as some popular streamers shared similar views. 

A popular name on the list was Twitch streamer Amouranth, who shared her take in an exclusive interview. The ASMR queen gave her take, laying down reasons that could save Piker from the backlash. 

What does Amouranth think about HasanAbi’s recent ‘dog shelter’ donation? 

During an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, we asked Amouranth if she was aware of HasanAbi’s recent donation video. And well, she nodded yes, dropping a few positive statements about it. While talking about the deed, Amo said, ” I think the heart is in the right place for sure from Hasan. I do think it is awesome that he’s trying to help out dogs getting adopted.” 

But then, she stressed about him getting the backlash and even laid down an idea that could’ve avoided it. ” I know he’s getting a lot of backlash from people. Like, they can’t afford the adoption fee, so they can’t afford a dog. There is a valid criticism of that. So, a better way to do that might’ve been not saying the name of the shelters that you’re giving money to.”

And this was fair. After all, people would be surprised as soon as they pay the bill because you never come across such massive discounts on an ordinary day. Plus, it would’ve led them to convey the message to others, leading them to adopt their dream pet soon.

Last but not least, Amouranth applauded him for his deed as she said that she could not hate him. In other words, we all know that she is a big-time animal lover, and something like this would put a smile on her face. But we’re also aware that the queen likes to look at things practically, so an opinion like this was always expected!
