It is very common to see celebrity couples having a sour eye for each other after a really bad breakup. And Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are no different in that context. This is mostly because of the fact that back in 2020 Ariana Grande had a reveal to Vogue magazine that she was actually dating Pete Davidson without knowing who he was and also as a distraction.

This was such that Pete Davidson in his 2020 Netflix special ‘Alive From New York’ even said that he was not actually convinced that Ariana said the same about him. But when he realized the situation, he vented out on her by conjugating, getting bored with her and playing the new Fortnite season.
Pete Davidson had a pretty rough venting session through his standup special regarding Ariana Grande
During his 2020 Netflix special stand-up ‘Alive From New York’, Pete Davidson talked about working with SNL and how he was almost fired during the first few months alone for smoking a lot of marijuana. But what was even more surprising is the fact that he started venting about his fresh breakup with Ariana Grande as she said that she was just dating him as a “distraction”.
Davidson regarding him not competing with Ariana Grande said, “She has her songs and stuff and this is what I have? You’re like, ‘Pete, this isn’t fair. You’re airing out dirty laundry. How could you do that? Where did she say this stuff? To her friends in the confidence of her own home?’ No, she said it on the cover of Vogue magazine.”
But even though he was trying to remain calm, he jokingly vented out by saying, “Can you imagine if I did that? My career would be over tomorrow if I spray painted myself brown and hopped on the cover of Vogue magazine and just started sh*tting on my ex.”
What did Pete Davidson say regarding himself as Fortnite?
Davidson regarding the fact that he was called a “distraction” by Ariana, giving reference to Fortnite, said, “Can you [the audience] imagine if I did that sh*t? Like, ‘Yeah, I was just f**king her because I was bored and then Fortnite came out.’”
