In the interview posted on YouTube, the host talked about the GTA 6 rumors circulating in the community and wanted to know Luke’s take on the matter. Luke agreed that the speculations were getting out of hand and even mentioned how his son jumped on the bandwagon one time.
He revealed how his son made assumptions about the next GTA title when Ned was doing a live interview previously. However, addressing the main issue, Luke said that the rumors are exactly that: rumors that cannot be confirmed by anyone but the devs themselves. Luke also said that no one can have any concrete evidence as to what GTA 6 is going to bring.
He said all the speculations are based on really early stages of the game’s development process and things may have changed significantly since then. He reiterates “…there’s nothing to know“.

Luke also shared that he understands where the fans are coming from. He believes Rockstar set a very standard for the entire industry to look up to with GTA V. “…they put out gold“, he says, referring to GTA V’s market reception. Hence, the pressure to create something similar, if not better, can result in a long development time. Luke seems to believe strongly that the wait will be worth it as GTA 6 will be a truly great game.
