A sequel to one of the most brutal side-scrolling Soulslike games ever released. Blasphemous 2 was announced by its developers, The Game Kitchen, during a recent Nintendo Switch indie showcase.

The game expands on its predecessor by introducing new gameplay mechanics such as weapon loadouts. These loadouts would allow players to select from three different kinds of weapons. And this game would also introduce a bunch of new enemy types to kill.

Oxenfree II

The original Oxenfree was a very creepy yet touching tale. A story about a person trying to find the source of an unusual disturbance and ways to fix it. The second part’s trailer hints at a similar setup, only this time the stakes seem higher.

The developers are offering a larger cast of characters in a vibrant new game world and some exciting new gameplay mechanics. And let’s face it, people would have played it even if this game was exactly the same as its predecessor.

Demon Skin

A side-scrolling hack-and-slash action RPG that is obviously very inspired by the Dark Souls series. The game is basically a very vibrant integration of its inspiration, which does not look half bad. It looks like the developers really went through a lot of effort just to make this game stand out, and they seem to have succeeded for the most part.

This game is a must-have for those who loved Salt and Sanctuary, as it gives off those vibes, only with a vibrant color palette.

Farworld Pioneers

A spaceship lands on an uncharted planet, and we, as the pilots of that ship, have to survive on this weird new planet. Exploring, finding resources, and building colonies for others to inhabit become the main objective.

The game reminds us of Terraria with its visuals, but there’s a lot more to it than just those visuals. Build farms, manage huge colonies, recruit people to help you—there’s a lot to unpack here, and it all seems pretty exciting!
