As The Super Mario Bros. Movie’s release date of April 7 is coming closer, fans are getting to know more about the movie. But one thing fans knew about for a while was Chris Pratt being the new voice for Mario. As a result, there was a lot of criticism from the fans. But Pratt has agreed to all the criticism and gave a fitting reply to them.

No one fails to recognize the iconic voice of Mario in the Nintendo games, which was provided by Charles Martinet. For almost three decades, he has been the Italian plumber’s voice actor. It was natural for fans to want the 67-year-old voice actor to be Mario’s voice even on the silver screen. However, the movie’s creator went for the Guardians of the Galaxy star, Chris Pratt.
