After being stuck in the development loop for years, the highly anticipated Borderlands movie adaptation is finally showing hopes of finishing. But in its last laps, the movie is reportedly entering its “reshoot” phase which according to the fans may not be a good sign at all.

But the good news is, these reshoots will be conducted by none other than Tim Miller, the renowned director of the highly successful superhero movie franchise, Deadpool. This last-minute change was made due to the unavailability of the previous director, Eli Roth who is busy with his new project based on a mock trailer of one of Quentin Tarantino’s movies.

But ever since its announcement, no new information was revealed about the movie. Eventually, the hype saturated and people almost forgot that it existed. But recently a new report surfaced, revealing that the movie is entering “reshoots” with some changes in the initials production team.

As reported by Deadline, the reshoots of the movie will be handled by the renowned Deadpool director Tim Miller instead of Eli Roth, as the latter is reportedly busy with his upcoming project “Thanksgiving”. It is a movie based on a Mock trailer that Roth made for the Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez Grindhouse film.

How did the fans react to the freshly surfaced development?

So far the cast of the movie is revealed to be, Jack Black as Claptrap, Cate Blanchett as Lilith, Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Patricia Tannis, Kevin Hart as Roland, and more. The fans weren’t very happy with the choices in terms of the cast, except for Jack Black. Roland’s cast seemingly displeased the fans the most.

Many fans even forgot that this movie was in development. With questionable cast choices and ‘reshoots’ with different directors, some fans even speculated that this movie could potentially be a recipe for disaster.
