Fans talked about the most underwhelming Fortnite crossovers ever!

When characters from Marvel Cinematic Universe were trying their best to keep Thanos from getting his hands on all the Infinity stones, Fortnite players already had the gauntlet in their hands.

Fortnite’s crossover with Avengers: Infinity War dropped an infinity gauntlet on the Island. This transformed players into Thanos and got some special abilities along with increased health.

This was indeed very exciting. And it made the prospect of Fortnite’s crossovers very exciting for gamers. They wanted to see what was to come next.

Eventually, these collaborations evolved from mere items to skins, that changed how players looked. Fans usually don’t mind new skins; they can be in battle pass or the item store. They can use them if they feel like or they can let those skins lay in their item storage.

But some collaborations such as streaming Quibi content in the Risky reels, and giving non-existent Dr. Who content disappointed fans.

There was also a Wreck-It Ralph collaboration, it made Ralph appear on the screen of an open theatre and he simply gave players an emote. It was indeed pretty underwhelming. Talking of underwhelming collaborations, there was the Matrix collaboration, it was disappointing because fans never even got a skin.

Anything from Neo to Mr. Smith would have been worthwhile, but Epic settled the matter with a bunch of Emotes.

It’s not important for a company to hit a home run with everything that they do. So it is not a big deal if Fortnite had some bad crossovers, the game itself remains fun to play. And most of the time, that’s all that matters.

Fans mention the collaborations they hated the most

Fans all over Reddit took part in the discussion about those underwhelming crossovers. They went on to make their choice and tell people the reason they hated a certain collaboration.
