The wall between sports and video games is narrowing with time, as game companies are releasing more sports simulation games. There are video games based on every real-world sport, from Formula One to soccer. Even action sports like WWE and MMA have got their video game adaptations.

Now talking about MMA-based gamers, the first that comes to our mind is the UFC series. As the name suggests, these games focus on the American mixed-martial art tournament, Ultimate Fighting Championship, or UFC. The game-developing company THQ led the torch to create the UFC Undisputed series.

The UFC Undisputed series was loved by all the MMA and video game enthusiasts. But later down the line, Electronic Arts took over the torch to create UFC-based games and came up with their new series in 2014, which has released four titles. Recently, UFC legend Conor McGregor shared his thoughts on the two UFC game series.

Conor McGregor isn’t a big fan of the latest UFC games

The UFC featherweight and lightweight double-champion is an icon in the MMA world. So, Electronics art got him to appear as a cover star on two titles, UFC 2 and UFC 3. In the second installment, McGregor was featured alongside Ronda Rousey, while in the third one, as a two-time champion.

McGregor must like the UFC games. He agreed to feature on two game covers. However it seems that that’s not the case. Despite promoting two titles, the Irish MMA star is not a huge fan of the UFC games by Electronics Arts. He instead likes the Undisputed series by THQ.

McGregor recently replied to English YouTuber KSI, who claimed to defeat Conor’s former training partner, Dillion Danis. But after responding to the YouTuber, McGreggor shared a photo of playing UFC 2 with KSI. With this photo, McGregor changed the conversation to his feelings for the UFC games.

The Irish UFC two-time champion wrote on Twitter, “The big bad boss of Burberry. Damn those early UFC games were the best. The new one current is garbáiste.” For those who don’t know Irish, Garbáiste means “Garbage.” Possibly McGregor loves the more aggressive and action-packed gameplay of the Undisputed series.
