The Verdansk map is almost two years old now and while it got a minor re-work, the map has stayed more or less the same. While the surely is big and loved by the Warzone community; players had been begging Raven for a change.

The Rebirth Island map was added to the game late last year and initially struggled to attract players. However, that scenario has changed and recently Warzone players are preferring to drop in Rebirth Island rather than Verdansk.

The reason behind this being that Rebirth Island is a smaller map when compared with Verdansk. This gives players numerous close counter engagements as well as the thrill of a quick match. A full match of Rebirth Island lasts 15-20 mins max, while the same of Verdansk can be up to 30 mins.

With the new Warzone Pacific map, Raven will strive to strike a balance and look to provide players a great overall experience. The new map is set on an island in the Pacific Ocean and will highlight jungles and tropical landscapes. Players can also expect a lot of open areas and the developers might even add speedboats to the mix.

The developers can take advantage of the landscape to engage players and, even make the final circles more arduous. A new map is also a great occasion for Raven to get Warzone back on track and solve major issues tormenting the game.
