Nintendo Switch started 2023 with a big game named Fire Emblem Engage. The game is garnering high praise from critics and fans are getting bowled over by it too. Then there would be The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but that would be launching in May.

So what comes in between? Aside from a bunch of small third-party indie titles, what else does Nintendo have in store for this console? It looks like we are about to find out!

Nintendo is going to show off a number of games in a Direct soon!

Nintendo recently announced through its Twitter account that a Direct is coming soon. And in this case, soon actually means soon! That is as soon as February 8, 2023!

Yes, the console creator is holding a Nintendo Direct showcase very soon and fans are going insane discussing what would be shown during this.

Nintendo has made this announcement saying that this showcase would be “featuring roughly 40 minutes of Information mostly focused on Nintendo Switch games launching in the first half of 2023.”

The games that are expected to be shown during this showcase are still unknown, but the internet already has a few ideas about them.

Games like Metroid Prime Trilogy, Pikmin 4, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Advance Wars are just a few of them. We are expecting to see these titles along with their launch date, and it would not be a very far-off thing to say that some would launch with the Direct itself.

Other than these, fans are also expecting a surprise or two to show up during this showcase. We have yet to confirm what those surprises are, but there have been some murmurs about a sequel to Metroid Dread!

A huge Tears of the Kingdom Showcase is incoming

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is not very far from launch and we are sure that there would be a treehouse stream after the Direct itself. We can expect a long showcase of this upcoming game, its features, etc.

And most important of them all, we would probably be getting a look at that Zelda edition Nintendo Switch OLED that was leaked a while ago.
