It’s almost February, and Nintendo fans are anticipating the Direct, but will it happen around the same time this year?

In November 2022, Nintendo hosted its last showcase of the year featuring indie games. It was the last Nintendo Direct before they bid adieu, helping fans learn and understand the work of small-time developers. After all, they put in tons of hard work, and so their work needed to be recognized. Plus, fans enjoyed it thoroughly, adding multiple genre games to play for the holidays.

But as time passed, their patience saw a quick exit as they raised questions about the next Nintendo Direct. The Japanese giant announced The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of Kingdom for May, and they wanted to get a better look at it. Apart from that, rumors swirled claiming the remake of a 2001 classic, which was one of the best games of its time.

Second, the Japanese giant promised Pikmin 4 for this year, so there is a high chance that they might tease it a little. And last but not the least, rumors have surfaced on the internet claiming the revival of Advance Wars, a 2001 classic. But the game once received massive backlash as it was released around the time of the 9/11 attacks, leading fans to question its revival.

However, Nintendo shut down the rumors in September, promising that the game was never canceled and that they might drop it soon. So, if you’re the ‘OG’ Nintendo fan, you need to keep an eye on the February Direct.
