Nintendo fans await the arrival of their next blockbuster, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This game will be released in May 2023 and will be way darker than its predecessor. The most recent trailer for the game clearly shows that Nintendo has not left any stone unturned in making it appealing to potential buyers.

However, some fans can’t help but wonder, would this game introduce many new enemies or just those that fans have already spotted in the trailers? It does not appear, though, that Nintendo might have added much. Moreover, there may be more than meets the eye.

So, here we list 5 classic Zelda enemies we would love to see in “Tears of the Kingdom!”

Deku Babas

These are the kind of enemies who might not be as deadly as many others in this series, yet they are capable of being a nuisance in numbers. These plant-like creatures spawn from the ground and, when killed, give players a stick that can be used for burning stuff.

Nintendo can easily add these enemies to the underground caves we have been seeing for so long now. And they can even serve the purpose of gathering sticks when the player runs out.

Skulltula

Imagine while you climb a huge mountain peak or any tall structure, it’s not raining, and you have enough stamina to last you that climb. What have you got to fear now? Nothing. But if Nintendo adds these enemies to this upcoming game, they can really be a problem.

Find a way to fight when climbing and give us these enemies.

Darknut

One enemy type that is missing from Breath of the Wild is a knight. We would suggest Nintendo add this iron-clad knight to this game, and drop him in every now and then as a mini-boss.

It would add more challenge and variety to the game.

Gomah

This giant armored spider is one of the most iconic enemies in the Legend of Zelda series. It made appearances in numerous Zelda games, including Hyrule Warriors. So what’s the point of hiding this enemy away?

Beasting is a very strategic process, and the enemy is fun to fight too!

Dodongo

This lizard deserves to be in these games, as their huge world would mean Nintendo would have to add huge variants of these enemies to this game.
