Mario Kart Live has some pretty cool features to offer after the new update version 2.0. On 17th Nov-2021, Nintendo released its new update for Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. This update features two brand new playable characters: Toad and Peach. One expert that goes by the name of Samus Hunter shared the news on Twitter.

Apart from the characters, now players can enjoy the multiplayer game from the same device through a split-screen feature. This means from now onwards there’s no need to have two Nintendo Switch devices to play multiplayer games. In fact, there is a new multiplayer mode “Relay Race” which supports 2-4 players.
It looks like this has update made this game more fun for sure. It’s already been a year since the launch of the game, and this was the most-requested update by the fans, which, thankfully, they finally got.

Finally, Nintendo listened to the fans and refined the multiplayer side of the game. It’s a moment of joy for Mario Kart fans as they had been waiting for a long time to get this change.

Apart from these, there’s more new content. A brand new Luigi Cup that features new maps. According to Comicbook, here is what it includes:

“The Cup features three new tracks: Windmill Meadows, Music Broadway, and King Boo’s Courtyard. Placing third in the Cup unlocks content based on the Luigi’s Mansion games: the Poltergust G-00 Kart and Spooky Horn.”
Unfortunately, this update is not available for Mario Kart 8 Delux. As of now, only Mario Kart Live owners can enjoy this update.
The future of Mario Kart Live seems bright, and the players seem extremely excited. If Mario Kart Live continues with its successful ways, the game will only get more popular and attract more players; hopefully, the game will offer new, fresh content every now and then to keep things exciting.
