Since its dream debut, PlayStation Productions’ The Last of Us series for HBO Max has been nothing less than a juggernaut. It has smashed viewership records left and right, thanks a wonderful performance by an acclaimed cast. While Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey have been the show stealers, the series has also introduced other popular actors as well. Along with actress Melanie Lynskey, one of its recent episodes also featured another familiar face in Jeffrey Pierce, who was seen as Perry. In The Last of Us games, he’s been Joel’s brother Tommy. However, it’s not just the Naughty Dog’s franchise he’s purely known for. In fact, Call of Duty fans will be surprised to learn that Pierce has also worked extensively in Activision’s iconic action series.

The year 2013 was known for The Last of Us when Jeffrey Pierce first appeared as Tommy. However, in the same year, he was also featured in Call of Duty Ghosts as the voice of Thomas A. Merrick. Later, he also voiced the character of HAVOC in 2016’s Infinite Warfare. But it was 2017’s World War II that made him gain a higher recognition.

The famous American actor, voice actor, novelist, and director has earned a name for himself in the last two decades. His performances in various TV shows have made him a known face in the entertainment industry. But his association with The Last of Us helped him win a BAFTA Award for Performer In A Supporting Role. Apart from Naughty Dog’s gaming saga, though, Jeffrey Pierce has also played key roles in various Call of Duty titles.

Talking about standout performances, then his portrayal of Lt. Joseph Turner in 2017’s World War II eventually amassed a huge praise from the fans. Along with providing his voice, he also did motion capture for him, thus giving the character a much-needed depth.

Recently, his friend Christian Lanz from Call of Duty World War II, who voiced Augustine Perez, shared a throwback photo while praising The Last of Us actor. The picture shows the two being on the mocap stage for the 2017 title from Activision.

Jeffrey Pierce was quick to respond back, as he quoted Christian’s tweet while writing that he would love to work with him again in the future.

Was this an indication for a possible comeback to the Call of Duty franchise? Well that’s something only time will tell. Meanwhile, fans are loving his role of Perry in HBO’s blockbuster TV series based on the successful PlayStation IP.
