The first season of HBO’s The Last of Us ended, and fans enjoyed how the showrunners brought this 2013’s Game of the Year to a new platform. They added some never-before-seen characters in the adaptations, with slight changes in some events. Because of the positive reaction to the show, HBO gave a green light to a sequel based on The Last of Us Part II.

This post-apocalyptic show received love from not only the fans of the original video game but also from those who never played any of TLOU games. One of the fans of this show is none other than the WWE legend ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

The WWE legend recently interviewed the Kinda Funny CEO and WWE host Greg Miller. During the interview, Stone Cold revealed that he is currently watching the HBO adaptation and claimed, “The Last of Us is good.” It led Greg to question if Austin has finished watching this video game adaptation or not.

But Austin questioned whether the show is still going. So Greg broke it to him that the latest episode was the season finale for HBO’s magnum opus. So, both the men shared that they watched Episode 9, leading Austin to talk about the Episode 6 ending that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

In that episode, Joel collapsed because of a stab he received earlier, leaving many fans to wonder whether Pedro Pascal’s character died in that episode. Even Stone Cold was wondering about Joel’s future, “When the dude got the shank in his gut, I was like, God, dang, he can’t die because he can’t leave the gal by herself. Because they are starting to bond, and she ended up being like a daughter to him.”

But then the interviewer again got confused about whether Austin watched the season finale or not. So to confirm he watched Episode 9, Miller questioned if he watched Joel going on a rampage in the Fireflies Hospital. So the 58-year-old replied, “Yeah, I think I have. Yeah, he did go ham. He was a man on a mission.”
