HBO Max’s hit show based on Naughty Dog’s Magnum opus, The Last of Us, has already set its foot firmly among the hearts of fans and critics. The show has been able to deliver a prestige drama adaptation while being true to the source. With each new episode, Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin’s directed series is setting some new standards.

In the new episode of the Last of Us, the story continues from where it was left in the third episode. The hunters attack Joel and Ellie as they believe they are allied with Henry. Henry wasn’t introduced in the show till the end. He found Joel and Ellie hiding from the Hunters. With him, there was another younger character named Sam. The episode ended with a cliffhanger, without giving any explanation.

The leader of the hunters, Kathleen Coghlan, believes Henry was the reason why FEDRA beat her brother to death. To exact her revenge on the man who sold her brother, Kathleen and her hunters ruthlessly hunt down anyone they think has any kind of connection to Henry. Unfortunately, Joel and Ellie landed on the wrong side of the assumptions.

In the game, both Sam and Henry play a very vital role. Similar to Joel and Ellie, Sam and Henry are survivors who were traveling the lands after the military in their QZ made them run away from the settlement. With a group of travelers, they reached Pittsburgh town. Where they eventually meet our protagonists.

In Pittsburgh, they were attacked by the Hunters and every one of their group was killed, except Henry and Sam.
