As a result of gaining an iconic status and unending love across the globe, there’s now a live-action adaptation coming soon, based on The Last of Us saga. Similar to the games, the HBO show has been created by director Neil Druckmann, in collaboration with Craig Mazin.

The Last of Us HBO series can change the mindset of non-gamers towards video games, according to Neil Druckmann

The director recently had an interview with a popular media outlet, The Hollywood Reporter. During the interaction, while showing his Santa Monica home, Neil Druckmann also touched upon the upcoming TV show based on his own gaming series for PlayStation.

While talking about The Last of Us live-action series, he mentioned that there needs to be a change in the approach of how people usually see video games. And that this norm might change after the awaited HBO show. “My hope is that it completely changes how non-gamers view what games are capable of when it comes to deep narratives,” said the Israel-born game creator.
