According to MrBeast, the trip to Antarctica was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and he was excited to take on the challenge. He and his crew spent 50 hours in the freezing temperatures, surviving on minimal supplies and facing the harsh conditions of the icy desert. Although he also mentioned that he was prepared for “much worse” conditions, somehow things remained quite decent for them.
When asked about the hardest part of the trip, MrBeast mentioned that, “The hardest part was just getting out there. It’s just so remote and you know, you land the plane on this ice runway, it is so sketchy and then once the plane takes off, you’re just there. You’re in the most remote place on the planet and it’s just very breathtaking.”
MrBeast also talked about climbing an unnamed mountain during the trip. He described it by saying, “In the video, we claimed a mountain, that wasn’t named, so we couldn’t name it, and standing on top of the mountain, just seeing ‘nothing,’ cause once you get outside the outskirts, you get deep in Antarctica, there are no penguins, nothing lives there at all, so there’s just nothing.”
