The Nintendo Direct concluded with a positive note on the matter that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom will be released as expected after all. However, it seems that fans are actually super hyped by the announcements made by the console giant for its other future games for this fiscal year.

With the first half filled with games like Octopath Traveller II, Disney Illusion Island, and Bayonetta Origins, fans are actually more hyped about the release of Gameboy and Gameboy Advanced, which is obviously a long-awaited release from the Japanese video game geniuses. However, the news of Professor Layton’s release soon was totally out of the blue, as no one anticipated that Nintendo was planning to release it in 2023.

The reason why Nintendo has a reputation for being a master of marketing is because of the type of stunts that it pulls when it comes to releasing video games. Although fans have a knack for keeping an eye out for any minute details that they can use to get their hands on any confidential data, it seems that Nintendo planned ahead of time and managed to pull a thread by keeping silent about Professor Layton.

The reveal of the return of this beloved puzzle solver game to Nintendo Switch was a real bliss, as games like Professor Layton from the DS and the 3DS era are what the true Nintendo experience was all about. But last seen in Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, the brilliantly crafted game, hadn’t seen any other light until now.

The developers of the fan-favorite Top Hat Professor, Level-5 are finally making a comeback with this latest game and it seems that not just fans but critics are hyped about this as well.

What to expect from the game?

Although not much is revealed during the Nintendo Direct event, it seems that Professor Layton will be working with steam this time around and if the trailer footage is to be seen carefully (although, it was not original gameplay footage), the cartoony, ink-style of gameplay graphics is now back with this upcoming title.
