The Game Awards 2022: God of War Ragnarok bags 6 trophies despite Elden Ring winning Game of the Year

Elden Ring was truly the star of the show as it ended the hours-long event by taking home the highest honor of the biggest gaming awards event. But before that, God of War Ragnarok made sure to keep the battle even. It didn’t let the FromSoftware blockbuster win very easily.

Despite losing the top title to Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarok emerged as the most awarded video game in The Game Awards ceremony. The PlayStation exclusive won a total of six trophies in the event. It won the Best Performance (Christopher Judge as Kratos), Best Narrative, Best Action/Adventure, Best Audio Design, Best Score and Music, and the Innovation in Accessibility award.
