One thing that fans were sure of was that whatever game the studio is working on is going to definitely live up to the legacy that the BioShock series left behind.
Ken Levine finally reveals the project he had been working on for years during the Game Awards 2022
During the Game Awards 2022, fans got a very pleasant surprise in the form of the trailer of the game that Ken Levine and his studio have been working on.
The game is called Judas, a sci-fi first-person shooter, it is set in a retro-futuristic world as is tradition with all Ken Levine games. In the trailer, we can see the protagonist trying to fix a broken ship that she is stuck on.
As she tries to find a way to fix it, we are shown a glimpse of the game’s combat. The combat again is very similar to those BioShock games, and some glimpses of very vibrant visuals.
The visuals in the trailer are accompanied by a remixed version of the popular sea shanty “leave her, johnny”. It then goes on to present more and more abstract locations and creatures, a mechanical dog with a door in its head, and many weird-looking things.
All in all, the game stays very close to what gamers have come to expect from every Ken Levine game. And fans are hoping that these “out there” visuals would be accompanied by a similarly “out there” narrative.

Ken or anyone from the development team was not present during the showcase. Other than the trailer itself, fans did not get any other information about Judas at all. Judas is releasing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Steam, and Epic Games Store sometime in 2023.
