Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the upcoming soul-like game that is on the list of every Star Wars and Dark Souls fan out there. The first game Jedi: Fallen Order released in 2019 really left its mark on gamers.

Hence, fans and gamers alike were very excited to know when they would be able to get their hands on the sequel. Also, they really wanted to see how the sequel that is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 actually looks.

The Game Awards 2022 gave Star Wars fans exactly what they wanted

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s release date and its trailer information had been previously leaked online. The thing is that leaks and rumors are not always reliable, and fans always have to take them with a grain of salt.

And then instantly after the leaks, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment decided to announce that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor would make an appearance during The Game Awards. And as every announcement leads to a trailer, this one did too.

Fans today got their first look at Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. They got a glimpse at blaster combat and some new bosses and the visuals. The visuals really looked like a significant upgrade over the previous installment.

As fans were flying high with excitement as they saw the trailer roll by, the trailer suddenly revealed the release date for the game. It would be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox series X, Xbox Series S, and PC on March 17, 2023.

This really got the fans going as the release date is way closer than anything fans of the previous game had expected.

Respawn Entertainment really captured lightning in the bottle

The first game in this series was something that not everyone was on board with at first. Fans were worried about it being called a Dark Souls copy. But once people slowly started to get into it, the game really took them on an unforgettable adventure.

The feeling of emergency when running from the Empire and the feeling when you throw enemy rockets right back at them via your force abilities really got people hooked.
