The upcoming award show is already looking very promising. From groundbreaking nominations to bright stars joining the red carpet, The Game Awards 2022 can truly become a significant night in the history of game award shows.
Big names to join The Game Awards 2022
The former Nintendo America president, Reggie Fils-Aimé, is a beloved individual in the community. He was active in the company from 2006 to 2019, and in that time span, Aimé had become somewhat of a face of the company for the international audience. This was a result of his affable attitude and frequent appearances in all Nintendo advertisements and videos.
On November 6, the team of The Game Awards broke the news on Twitter. They honored Reggie by giving him the title of the “Big Man” as he was about to make his ninth consecutive appearance in the annual award show. The former president of the Japanese Giant replied with playful words, “Yes, I am ready!” followed by a funny GIF.

But Reggie is not the only A-lister appearing on the stage as a presenter, as the official Twitter account of the Game Awards also confirmed some big names so far for the show. It has been confirmed that former 007 actor Daniel Craig, filmmaker Rian Johnson, and actor Pedro Pascal from the upcoming Last of Us series will be making an appearance on the grand stage.
