Days before the official release, Bayonetta 3 landed itself in troubled waters over the voice actress controversy. The lead VA of Bayonetta, Hellena Taylor, voiced her problems on Twitter concerning low wages. Apparently, the franchise offered her a merry $4000 for her role, which came off insulting to the legend.

She’s been the backbone of the franchise’s success, as fans have adored the protagonist’s voice. So, it was important for PlatinumGames to look after her well-being for the third edition. However, it looked like they cared little, landing themselves in an unnecessary controversy amidst the game release.

Hideki Kamiya, Bayonetta’s developer, played an active role in this feud as he added some heated tweets targeting Hellena. He asked her to be ‘beware’ of his rules, instantly starting another controversy on Twitter.

Soon, fans attacked him for going against the Bayonetta star as they did not appreciate his move. But that did not stop Hideki from going further, as the Japanese game developer did something unexpected.

Bayonetta 3 Developer baffles fans with a bizarre ‘blocking’ spree

For the past two days, the Bayonetta controversy has stormed the internet. While Hellena was just looking out for herself, one of the game developers could not deal with it rightly. Hideki Kamiya, the second most important employee of PlatinumGames, tried to turn her down in his latest Twitter post. However, he was unsuccessful in doing that, as fans showed complete support for the VA.

DIVE DEEPER: “Block Me So I Don’t Have to See Your Tweets Anymore” – Fans Slam Bayonetta 3 Developer Amidst Voice Actress Controversy

The Bayonetta community flooded Hideki’s comment section asking about the issue, which started an unnecessary war on Twitter. Hideki, under unknown circumstances, started firing shots at everyone over the same. Plus, he also went on a blocking spree, limiting certain viewers to access his posts.

But sadly, his blocking spree turned against him as Twitter disabled his account instantly. Twitter follows a strict handbook of guidelines and maintains the same for every user. According to their standards, it is not advised to go on and block people one after another, as it might result in a ban. And so, Hideki fell prey to this as a reward for his actions.

Fans were quite happy at this sight as they celebrated their feelings over multiple Twitter posts. “The Evil Has Been Defeated,” one of them said, feeling ecstatic about the same.

As of now, Hideki’s account is under supervision, not allowing him to like/tweet/re-tweet/follow anything or anyone. To say it in simple words, there’s nothing that the PlatiumGames designer can do until Twitter Gods let him.
