One thing that fans love to see is the collaboration between icons from different fields. Even in movies, we have seen iconic meet-ups garnering tons of love and appreciation. The same now has happened as F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo participated in an interesting collaboration with a popular YouTuber. 

Lachlan Power, the Australian content creator/ professional gamer collaborated with Danny Ric for a very unique test. This has the fans at the tip of their seats, awaiting the victor in this massive crossover.

Daniel Ricciardo is a renowned F1 racer who earlier was part of the McLaren team. But after a harsh 2022, he jumped ships and now is back with Red Bull Racing. Ricciardo is their third driver for 2023. On the other hand, Lachlan Power is a popular YouTuber and professional gamer. He started his career with miscellaneous titles but found root through the popular battle royale game Fortnite. He is the first Australian gaming content creator to hit the 10 million subscribers mark on YouTube.

Owner of an eSports org, Power even has a Fortnite icon series named after him. So, watching these two stars from different walks of life collaborate is a dream coming true.

The reason for this meet-up is even more intriguing. Through a small experiment, Daniel Ricciardo and Lachlan Power are trying to determine who has the better reaction time. This is a very controversial question that has sparked quite many debates on the internet.

The test began with both of them trying to catch a scale mid-air. The ruler was dropped at an unexpected time, and each of them had to catch it before it touched the ground. Interestingly, both of them caught it and got awarded equal points. The next one was drop ball catching. A person had a ball in each hand, and the participant had to catch the one which was unexpectedly dropped. Completing this will determine the winner. The Fortnite streamer went first, and out of the three tries he had, he only caught one.

But when Daniel Ricciardo came to compete, it was totally different. He did not even look at the hands, and with his peripheral vision caught each falling ball. Thus making him the winner of the reaction challenge.

From this, we cannot settle the debate of whether a gamer or a racer has a more precise reaction time, but we can say that Daniel Ricciardo has more compared to Power.
